We just wrapped up our second annual Slam Camp, in which Orlando high schoolers worked with some talented local poets to write, record, publish and perform a piece of original poetry. One of our veteran poets, Saivon H (17, Edgewater High School) upped the anti this year with his poem war. And thanks to Victor and Brian at UCF C.R.E.A.T.E. we were able to get him (and our other poets) into the studio to record a CD. Click here to download “War,” by Saivon, a.k.a. the Beast.
