We just wrapped up our fourth annual Young Writers Summer Camps, where we published stories by more students than any other year. Not to mention, we got a new book binder! Say goodbye to those bulky white coils and welcome our slick new books (pictured on the left)! We’re so excited, we don’t care how many exclamation points we use anymore!

Oh how we wish camp could run forever. So many awesome stories, talented students and amazing volunteers. Those books on the left feature a unique character on each cover thanks to artist Bill Krowl. We were also graced by Ethan Long, Dennis Rach and Edward Bloor, who read signed books for our campers. Not to mention all the amazing author portraits taken by Karen Lee.

But alas, fall is here and we have homework to help with, online newspapers to run, and children’s books to giveaway. One thing is for sure though: next summer is bound to be awesome.
