Page 15 is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to offer their time to assist with our tutoring and writing programs, as well as with other aspects of the organization, from graphic design work to accounting. And getting started with us is EASY. If you are interested in getting involved, please email download our Page 15 Info + Training Packet 2012-13. Or email our Volunteer Coordinator firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
We are always looking for interns. Those interested in taking on responsibilities beyond those of a regular volunteer, please contact our Program Coordinator email@example.com for more info.
How do I become a Page 15 volunteer?
If you like what we do and want to help, fill out our volunteer form and send it in. Once you have registered with us you will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator, who will provide you with more information on our programs and explain how to sign up for hours.
What is the time commitment?
Whatever time you have to give!
Any requirements to volunteer at Page 15?
Our top priority at Page 15 is to provide our students and their families with a safe and positive experience. To earn and maintain their trust we adhere to a strict safety policy and require that all of our volunteers, coordinators, and directors pass a background check. Volunteers must also be 18 years or older.
What kind of help does Page 15 need?
We always need volunteers to help with our programs and events. During the school year, our largest need is for tutors to work with our students in the Homework Room. We also need creative people to help run our writing programs and summer camps. If you have ideas for your own creative writing projects, we would love to help you make them happen. We also love designers and programmers to help with print and web stuff.
Do you take book donations?
Yes! Please send (or drop off) any new or gently used children’s / young adult / teen books to our sister program, Urban ReThink, 625 E. Central Blvd., Orlando, FL 32801.
