Other Page 15 programs

Page 15 at OMA:

In 2015, Page 15 launched the after-school “Young Writers Workshop” at the Orlando Museum of Art. This unique partnership gave students in grades 3 – 10th the opportunity to improve writing skills, or pursue their own creative ideas, while immersed in the atmosphere of a world-class art museum. Students were allowed unlimited access to the museum’s permanent and travelling exhibitions, providing the perfect complimentary environment from which to draw inspiration.

In-School programs:

Page 15 has been recognized by the Orange County School Board (OCPS) for “outstanding programming for OCPS students,” and maintains strong partnerships with more than 75 Central Florida public, private, and charter schools. In-school programs have included two on-line newspapers for Howard Middle School and Central Florida Leadership Academy; publishing a literary journal at Nap Ford Community School in Parramore; and hosting annual college essay workshops at Jones High School.

Book Bound:

Book Bound is Page 15’s semi-annual community event that gives families a chance to celebrate the loves of books together! Hosted at the Downtown Orlando Farmers Market at Lake Eola, this fun and free event features a giant book tent, stocked with thousands of new and gently used children’s books for families to choose from for FREE and take home to explore together.
